Nokia 8800 sirocco golden ED.

I know this has nothing to do with OC or computer HW, but i wanted to show of my new mobilephone, it is a Nokia 8800 sirocco golden ed. it is a really nice phone, u can really feel that it is quality, it has a 18k golden layer, and i can really feel its weight. it has a safiredenhanced tft display with 256K colors and a 208 x 208 pixel resolution. I dont have so much more to say about it and if u want to know more u can check out nokias website.. here are some pictures of the phone, enjoy !!

30K in 05 w single 9800GTX

Today i ran some more tests with 9800GTX and my E8400 on SS, i broke 30K in 05 with this setup, and sub 9 in superpi 1M, i also broke 90K i 01, and took some other really nice results. Im pretty sure i can get higher frequencies on the cpu, i know for sure that higher FSB is possible under cold, but i have to test it even more, and maybe run it under CASCADE. I think 610-615 can be done under SS, will try some more tomorrow. Tomorrow is also time for some more 780i tests and SLI runs..will get back with results on how that goes..now a few pictures on the setup..

Here are a few screens of the scores i took today, i will be starting up a thread in the forumsection and show some more results.

Debugger Card

I order a few debugcards because some motherboards doesent have their own led display, this makes it much eaiser to find the weak link during a hardware crash. i know i just need one but i bought five to sell to other people who needs them. I think this is a really good investment and i think i will use it alot :D

EVGA 780i SLI

As most of you know (the ones that are reading the things i post), i got two 9800GTX cards to play with, and to run SLI i had to buy myself a SLI board, the board finally came and i cant wait to test it out. I will run both 9800GTX and 8800GT to make some comparisons between these cards. First i wanted to buy a 790i board, but because i dont have any DDR3 mem, not yet anyway i had to go with the 780i series. I think this is a nice board and that my cpus will like it. I hope it can manage high FSB because i want to run some 3Dmark01 with my E8400, im hoping to pass 100k in 01 on AIR. Will post some screens here later but just a few, most of them will land in the forumsection with the other stuff. ENJOY !!

9800GTX

Today two new cards arrived at my house, more specific two 9800GTX, and once again i feel really lucky to be testing these diamonds. Im waiting on my EVGA 780i SLi board and it should be here on friday, i really hope so anyway, but until then both you and me have to manage running a singel card, and it works for me :). I will also get some new GFX coolers(TR HR-03 GT) on friday, and until that i will be running them on accelero s1 rev.1. GFX cooler. Ok enough said ! here are some pictures of the cards, more can be found in the forum section under graphic cards.

I have had some time to test these beauties now, and i must say that i like them, they are much cooler than the 8800-series, and they OC much much more on air, but there are some similarities to for ex. in 3d05 they give me about the same score clock for clock, but in 03 there is a big diffrence.

45nm E7300 ES

I got the opportunity of testing a new cpu model in the 45nm penryn family, This one is really a budget cpu, and will work perfectly with my HTPC. This cpu runs with a 1066mhz FSB at 2.66ghz, It has a much lower L2-cache then the E8-series, 3mb L2-cache. One really good thing with this cpu is that it has a 10x multiplier. Im really looking forward to testing this one, it will be fun. will show some results as soon as i have tested it, and this one will also go under some subzero temps.

I got some time today to start the initial testing with this cpu, and i have to say its a funny little bugger to play around with. I almost took FSB 600 with it, just 10 FSB short, so will try and take that another day. I have a few screens to show, but if u want to see more you have to visit my forum, (use the link below.) Enjoy !!

E8400 & E3110

Today two new cpus dropped in to my mailbox, it is one E8400 and one Xeon E3110. Im really excited to test yet another new cpu, and see how it performs. and im glad that i did get my hands on this sample, because from what i have heard there isnt going to be that many 45nm Xeon cpus on the market, and that is to bad. The E3110 isnt mine, i bought it for a friend, but i have asked him if i could test it out a little and that was no problem. however the E8400 is mine and i think i have gotten my hands on a golden sample, cant wait to see how golden it is. Will update with a few results during the day.

I have now tested the first cpu, and i choose to start with the E3110, i have to say this is really a golden ex, i stopped at FSB 590, and the only reason i did that was because the guy who owns the cpu wanted me to wait so that he could be there when we break FSB 600 with xeon. im pretty sure i can get it running in higher clocks if i really push it, with more Voltage and some tweaking, but again i want to wait for my friend. i really hope that he wants to run this under some subzero so that we really can test MAX FSB,

Its about time i update with some E8400 results, i ran my E8400 a couple of days ago, but because i have had so many things to do the previous week i havent gotten around to make this update. you can find all my E8400 results in the forum thread. Anyway i tried some FSB and high OC on air,i think i can get it higher with more voltage. the voltage used for cpu clock is 1.55V.

Shuttle SP35P2

For along time now i have been thinking about building myself a HTPC, but thinking and doing are two different things, but when elmor ask me if i wanted to buy hes price from SMPC, a shuttle SP35 i couldnt say no, it was for a decent price, and now i could do it instead of just thinking it. Thanks elmor

The thing that really got my attention is the fingerprint scanner, it is so hi-tech and futuristic, i feel almost like a child again, now im waiting for a cpu so i can start this beast up, i will also try some benchmark apps with it, and you can see results later on in my forum.

Another 9450ES B1

When people saw the results and that i had a Q9450, they contacted me about fixing one for them to. And because im such a nice guy i helped another person to get one, the difference on this and the first one is minimal, this one could get a little higher FSB with the same settings as the old one. But the same story here, this was not my cpu so i didnt have the time to run subzero and i didnt have the guts to push it to hard, i want to send it to the guy in one piece.

Q9450ES B1 45nm

A friend asked me if i could find a cheaper quad model in the 45nm series, after a quick search and with help from another friend i found one, and bought it.

it had to be shipped from America so it took a few days. but When i got it i had to test it before shipping it to its rightful owner, he didnt mind :D

(click thumbnail for bigger image)

I ran this quad under AIR only, didnt have the time to run it under subzero temps, and i didnt have the nerve to run it to hard, max FSB with VTT 1.37 was 447,(no GTL-ref tweaks), max Vcore i used was 1.32V, i didnt need more because i couldnt get the cpu any higher because of FSB. multi on the Q9450 is 8.

XFX 8800GT VMOD

After i got my 8800GT card and tried it without any mods, i decided to make one on this card, but because im such a lazy bastard it took a while before i got around to it, but i finally did and the difference in performance on this card with and without a Vmod is really big, i could run the gpu in 730mhz with 1.05V, and after the mod i ran this card in 800mhz with 1.17V with org. cooler. I hope it gets higher with better cooling, i think i will do the mod on the mem to, but that is another story.
